Introduction
How to Use
Your Timeline is an interactive infographic that displays the biggest moments in your life – which we refer to as Milestones. These Milestones populate as colored dots on the Timeline – shown on the date and year by which they occurred on.
Hover over a Milestone dot to reveal its details. Clicking a Milestone will scroll your Journal to that year and moment.
📌 Quick tip
The current year is labeled with a black, dotted line and marker. Clicking the marker showing the current year to quickly return to the current year.
Zooming In and Out
On the right side of the Timeline, by the main menu ☰, you'll see a slider allowing you you to drag and zoom in/out on your Timeline.
While we initially zoom to displaying 100 years on the Timeline, the slider lets you set a preference for how many years you choose to focus yourself around.
Year Ratings
You'll notice a grey line that extends across the center of your Timeline – out from your birthdate milestone. That line reflects your Year Ratings and represents your trajectory, quality of life, and satisfaction through the years.
It ranges each year from 1 (Terrible) to 10 (Incredible). If a year is rated low, then the line will dip that year. Inversely, if the year is rated high, then the line will peak up.
Automatic Ratings
Each week, when you complete a Journal entry, you can apply a Week Rating reflecting how you felt that week went – again from 1-10.
Year Ratings automatically tally up those Weekly Ratings and reflect on your Timeline.
